Award submissions
Between 2018-2022, I coordinated council’s international Smart21 and Top7 Intelligent Community award submissions which showcase regional activities across six focus areas:

• broadband
• knowledge workforce
• innovation
• digital inclusion
• engagement
• sustainability. 

This global award program focuses on broader community projects, initiatives and partnerships. The 2020 Top7 submission included contributions from 45 individuals representing 16 council initiatives and 24 regional programs led by local education, community and business/industry groups and organisations.

In 2019, I developed two public documents highlighting the region’s programs, projects and initiatives, drawing on the wealth of information collated in the Top7 award submission:

• The Entrepreneurship and innovation brochure which showcases the people, innovative and creative industries, and support available to local entrepreneurs and innovators.
• An Innovation and entrepreneurship programs for young people flyer which provides details about activities and programs that prepare youth for future career opportunities.
